Grant County Public Utility District selects eBid Systems for Supplier Relationship Portal solution

Press Release – Seattle, WA – October 20, 2002 – eBid Systems, a provider of hosted contract sourcing and management solutions to industry and public agencies, is pleased to announce Grant County PUD as the newest user of our BidHost enterprise application.

Grant County Public Utility District will utilize eBid Systems’ Supplier Relationship
Portal solution to support online contractor registration, and management of the
sourcing, evaluation, and awarding of contracts for general bidding opportunities
and the small works programs. “We are managing a substantial amount of work between
our fiber network build-out and normal utility maintenance. eBid Systems’ solution
provided us with the best possible option for our current operational needs. Without
this new system, we would probably have to hire one to two people to manage our
anticipated workload; at that rate eBid Systems’ application will pay for itself
in less than one year,” said Craig Weddle, Procurement Supervisor, Grant County
Public Utility District.

“We are very proud to be working with Grant County Public Utilities; our operational
knowledge of utilities, the bidding process, and communication technologies make
our applications a compelling solution to the needs of infrastructure intensive
companies and utilities in particular,” said Keith Jones, President and Founder
of eBid Systems.
