Integrated inbound fax service now available

Seattle, WA - July 19, 2004 – eBid Systems is pleased to announce the availability of inbound fax services. This new feature enhances the flexibility of existing capabilities for outbound e-mail and fax notifications, and inbound communications via Web form input and electronic document transmission.

Many contract-related documents, such as bid forms, W-9 forms, insurance certificates, signed contracts, vendor applications, and other signed documents continue to be transmitted by fax. With an inbound fax solution from eBid Systems, documents can be sent to fax number assigned to our customer. Faxes are automatically converted to Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF), and users are alerted to incoming documents on their application dashboard. Incoming faxes are automatically linked to existing vendors, forwarded to a colleague or linked with a specific procurement action.

Inbound faxing eliminates lost documents, busy fax lines, provides a centralized view of electronic and fax information, and eliminates lost information due to mechanical fax machine breakdowns.
