Port of Vancouver USA is located at the natural transportation hub of the Pacific Northwest on the Columbia/Snake River System, an ideal transfer point for cargoes moving to and from the Pacific Rim and the world. Annually, the port handles more than 500 ocean-going vessels, as well as river barges, with a total cargo volume exceeding 5 million metric tons. Since 2005 the port has used eBid eXchange to manage qualification of contractors, professional service providers, and suppliers and to streamline communication with its vendors.
eBid eXchange is a vast improvement over the old school way of delivering projects and documents. We are able to get project information out faster, with less paper and less cost. The speed is hands-down faster than before.

With eBid Systems solution, we were able to convert approximately 80% of bid and proposal paperwork into online transactions, significantly cutting costs and saving time. We now have a streamlined bidding process that provides tighter quality control and an easier vendor communications medium.

Sound Transit builds and operates commuter trains, light-rail, and bus transit systems in the Central Puget Sound area of Washington State. The cost and time to procure materials and services in support of a multi-billion dollar capital improvement program posed a daunting challenge to an organization just ramping up its procurement organization. eBid Systems implemented a tailored solution for Sound Transit in 2001 that allowed them to rapidly build a database of service providers and suppliers and to broadcast notifications of new business opportunities to the vendor community, handling more than $2.2 billion in procurement.
Our agency is very satisfied with the current product and services. Post installation problem response and resolution is exceptional. ... Very user friendly for agency administrators as well as vendors.
