Coull's procurement process prior to eBid eXchange involved producing project documents by hand, buying plans for each subcontractor, and shipping them out. eBid Systems implemented a vendor portal solution that manages the procurement lifecycle, including online subcontractor pre-qualification, bid invitation, and electronic bid document distribution, achieving an 80% savings in bid invitation and document preparation labor and direct costs.

 eBid eXchange is a vast improvement over the old school way of delivering projects and documents. We are able to get project information out faster, with less paper and less cost. The speed is hands-down faster than before.

Port of Seattle is the 4th largest container shipping port on the west coast, and also operates the Seattle Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac). Since July 2000, the Port of Seattle's vendor portal hosted by eBid Systems has been used to facilitate more than $2.3 billion in procurement. The Port of Seattle estimates that their use of eBid eXchange has saved more than $400,000 annually, compared to their previous procurement processes.
