J.M. Coull & eBid Systems Receive Constructech Magazine's 2009 Vision Award
The eBid eXchange system is painless. I can remember the days when there was an assembly line to get bid documents out. Things that used to take a day-and-a-half can be achieved in about an hour, and that is just sending documents out. In time alone we have seen an 80% savings on average.

J.M. Coull Logo, Commercial Construction J.M. Coull, Inc. offers customers a full range of construction services that include construction management, design/build, and general contracting services. J.M. Coull's procurement process prior to eBid eXchange involved producing project documents by hand, buying plans for each subcontractor, and shipping them out. eBid Systems implemented a vendor portal solution that manages the procurement lifecycle, including online subcontractor pre-qualification, bid invitation, and electronic bid document distribution, achieving an 80% savings in bid invitation and document preparation labor and direct costs.

eBid eXchange is a vast improvement over the old school way of delivering projects and documents. We are able to get project information out faster, with less paper and less cost. The speed is hands-down faster than before.

D.R. Horton, Residential Construction D.R. Horton is one of the nations largest homebuilders, operating in 77 markets in 26 states. In 2006, the company was looking for creative ways to shorten the time to market for new projects, reduce the cost of bid invitations and bid document distribution, improve vendor relationships, and make the estimating and purchasing staff more efficient. eBid Systems implemented a vendor portal solution that manages the procurement lifecycle, including online vendor pre-qualification, bid invitation, electronic bid document distribution, online bidding and bid analysis, providing direct savings of $70,000 to $100,000 annually.

Prior to using eBid eXchange, bids would be returned to us in a 2-3 week period. Currently bids are being returned within 5 business days and houses are beginning construction weeks earlier than planned. It is incredibly easy for a new vendor to jump right in to our bidding process - all the information, plans, and documents they need are readily available.
